Hello again, I still exist and am conscious and continue to have all four limbs and a vast majority of my braincells. I've been on a bit of a hiatus for several months, thanks to a large number of stressful things all coming together to demand my attention and drain my psyche all at once. Most of those things seem to have resolved, and come 2025, I should be just as active again. I have a Bluesky account now, though, handle is bowfuz.bsky.social.

I've spent the last 6 weeks sorting out the VAs I have so far for KIN, and it's occurred to me: Bell, arguably the most important character in the show, has no auditioners! Worse, her voice is needed in the very first episode! I don't have the means to find volunteers any other way, than just posting wherever I can.

What I'm looking for: Volunteers with a passable feminine voice. No prior voice acting experience needed (I am just as clueless, I promise xD). No more than an hour of your time every couple months, long-term. No promise of monetary payment. Must be reachable through Discord.

Been a minute since I've said anything here on NG lol, so I thought I'd do a little status update on what I'm up to and what's new:

WARM.CODE is, without a doubt, cancelled. There's a number of reasons for why, the primary being the plot became unworkable. However, that brings me to a good piece of news, that being...

KIN is underway! Kin is a new webseries project, featuring my little polygon ladies you've seen in most of my posts. There's a lot to do first, before I even start animating the first episode, which as it stands will be hardly a minute long. Right now, I'm practicing animation and making tons of GIFs and stills to get the hang of emotional expression, timing, posing, etc.. I'm also making longer, more complicated animations with audio, which will practice me in making props, setting scenes, blocking, and maybe more things. Some of those might end up on my YouTube channel in the coming months, so keep an eye out!

And this one isn't really new, but I'm super active on Discord, and I love making friends. So, if you like my blorbos (or me XD), I always have room for more besties, and you can find me with the handle @bowfuz :3

Felt the need to say this cause it will most definitely be a pattern here (u already know this shibe, this is for any silent lurkers lookin at my things): I get burnt out often and probably have ADHD, though I don't have a diagnosis, among other things.

So, don't take me at my word if I forget to "no promises but I might" and say instead that I guarantee I'll be doing something, cause it's never a guarantee with me lol, predicting what I wanna do in 10 minutes is about as tricky as predicting the weather a month in advance.

Here's some random facts about me and my work with no particular rhyme, feel free to ask other questions in the comments, but I'll try to cover general questions right here:

Fav color? Orange (#FF8000), everyone else thinks I'm weird for it but orange needs love lol

Where from? Arizona. I will wear a jacket in any temperature below 75 because my body makes no heat of its own.

What make? Music, blender models, animations and character rigs, (mostly) original fiction, and I've got an ambitious animated show in progress called WARM.CODE. no spoilers, but it takes inspiration from GLITCH and Liam Vickers's Murder Drones. Stay tuned for that!

And nobody's going to ask, but no, the mouth on Mint and her sisters isn't a post-processing or compositing thing, it's an actual thing built into the rig, and I'm pretty proud of it. I might make a post about how it works sometime.
